UPDATE: THE LOS FELIZ BRIDGE HOME ON RIVERSIDE DRIVE

A year in the making, the Los Feliz Drive Bridge Home on Riverside Drive is finally complete. We’ve been working on this coed shelter project with the City of LA for the last six months in an effort to help fundraise for and decorate the space that will house 100 men and women transitioning out of homelessness.

Mayor Eric Garcetti and Councilman David Ryu officially opened the Los Feliz Bridge Home last week via a virtual grand opening. The service provider for the project is People Assisting the Homeless (PATH), whose main mission is to help those experiencing homelessness find permanent housing, while providing them with medical and mental healthcare. We furnished and designed the interior to make the space as warm and welcoming as possible. The facility includes 100 beds, a dining area, restrooms and showers, a space for pets, and offices where residents can meet with case managers. Here, some photos and press coverage of the project.
