Event Recap: The 6th Annual AETHER Rally in Pioneertown
Desert vistas, snow-capped mountains, rugged roads, and sunshine—these are just a few of the promises AETHER’s annual rally delivered on for the sixth year in a row. Form meeting function never looked better as new friends and old rolled up to the Historic Pioneertown Motel with their motorcycles, cars & custom campers. While sitting around the bonfire, sharing cold beers, hookahs, and conversation, just under 200 attendees geared up for breathtaking and scenic drives through Joshua Tree National Park.
Saturday morning dawned crystal clear, with perfect riding conditions whether you were driving a G Wagon, dune buggy, or motorcycle. Riders had the option to choose a paved guided tour or an off-road drive to fully experience the panoramic Joshua Tree and snowy Big Bear Mountain. Thanks to AETHER’s welcoming ‘come one, come all, just bring your sleeping bag and devil-may-care attitude,’ camaraderie and discovery were the order of the day.
There were no wrong turns when riding with this crew over the desert's rough terrain and sandy dunes—and ride we did.
The weekend wrapped up with making new friends over smoky Madre mezcal, a riveting live guitar performance, and fantastic food by Ceci’s Gastronomica.
Thank you to all of our sponsors who made it all possible - Pioneertown Motel, Madre Mezcal, Cake, Harley Davidson, High Desert, Verve, Woodford Reserve, Motoring Club, Ursa Major, Cici's Gastronomia, Boxed Water, Skyduster Beer & Heimplanet.
Hope to see you next year.
