The Information We Collect
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain usage details about your device: web browser specifications, IP address, time zone and browsing data collected through cookies. As you browse our website, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred, and information about how you interact with our website. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are used to help the visitor’s browsing experience during their time on the website (ex: a cookie will remember items that are left in the shopping cart). Visitors can disable cookies through their web browser; however, aspects of the website may not function properly.
- “Log files” track actions occurring on our website, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse our website.
We use third parties to improve our ability to identify visitors to our website. As part of this service, we may make available identifiers to these third parties including our visitors’ IP addresses, cookies, and hashed versions of email addresses captured from your visit. We, and third parties, use this data to obtain more information about our visitors and reach out to them through other channels, such as email and/or direct mail. You have the right to opt-out of this activity. To opt-out, please email us at email@example.com.
We use third-party website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to collect information about visitor traffic: browsing behavior, referring/exit pages, conversion and device data. We use this information to enhance visitor experience on the website and to communicate with you.
We may also collect your email address via cookies and pixels on the website through the use of trusted third-party partners. These partners may also combine your email information with other information they have access to such as a mailing address so that we may serve relevant marketing offers to you via email and direct mail. If you do not want us to collect information about you, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through our website, we collect “Order Information” from you: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number.
How We Use the Information
We use the Order Information that we collection to fulfill any orders placed through the website (including processing of payment information, shipping fulfillment, and providing order confirmation receipts via email). Additionally, we use this information to communicate with you; screen orders for potential risk or fraud; and when opted-in, we provide email marketing or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our website (ex: by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with our website and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
Personal Information is shared with third-party marketing partners for commercial purposes. If you would like to opt-out of all third-party data sharing, please email us at email@example.com. You may also opt-out of these specific services at any time:
