Photo Essay: Baldface Lodge, Pt. 1
Set in the Selkirk Mountains in Nelson, British Columbia, Baldface Lodge is a powder-seeking skier and snowboarder's dream. A 10-minute helicopter ride from Nelson's downtown, the no-frills lodge draws some of the top riders in the world to Canada to go cat skiing on the seemingly endless terrain thick with trees, steeps, and—if you're lucky—fresh turns. Recently, the AETHER crew returned to Baldface to be greeted by freezing temps and tons of new snow. Each morning brought pristine powder, untracked runs, and, as a result, ear-to-ear grins. See below for part one of our photo essay highlighting the spectacular conditions and unforgettable experience that is Baldface Lodge.
