Divide Motorcycle Jacket & Pant

To field test our latest motorcycle collection, we headed to the desert roads of Joshua Tree, gathering a group of friends and moto enthusiasts to wear some of our new styles in the elements. We came armed with several exciting pieces to experiment with—namely, our first-ever touring motorcycle suit made from GORE-TEX Pro and a mesh jacket. ↓

The Divide Motorcycle Jacket and Pant were specifically designed with epic rides in mind, those times when you take to the twisties for hours, days, and even weeks at a time. This suit marks our first collaboration with GORE: The heavy-duty fabric is abrasion resistant, helping to keep you safe on long hauls. We also seam sealed both the jacket and pant, rendering them waterproof and wind resistant to help you combat whatever weather comes your way on the road. ↓

On our ride, we made our way through Joshua Tree National Park and onto Pioneertown, the Old West town built by Hollywood investors in the ’40s as a set for films and television shows. Over the last few decades it has transitioned into a popular tourist destination and was the site of our fourth annual AETHER Rally this May. ↓

Despite the desert’s hot temperatures, we stayed comfortable thanks to the Divide Jacket’s pit zips and zippered back vents that allow air to enter and exit through the jacket.

The desert was also a prime location to put our first-ever Draft Mesh Motorcycle Jacket to the test. The jacket is abrasion resistant to keep you safe, but the ultra-breathable mesh ensures you won’t overheat on a hot day. When making our version of this warm-weather staple, we also made sure to add an external rain- and wind-protection layer that can be stashed in the back pocket of the mesh jacket and thrown on if the temperature or weather changes. The outer layer is seam sealed, making it both water and wind resistant. ↓

The trip was a success with plenty of hours spent on the bike and our styles holding up at every turn. The desert nor soaring temps nor long hours on the road stood a chance against our latest moto collection, designed with the serious rider in mind. •
