On Location in Jackson Hole

Jackson Hole is a town known for many things: the grandiose Teton Range, its close proximity to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park, and world-class skiing. A beloved mountain of skiers and snowboarders alike, Jackson has earned a reputation for great snow, serious steeps, and imposing vertical. This past winter, it was also the site of our Fall/Winter 2019 shoot. ↓

Given the country’s epic snow year, we decided to stay domestic and take advantage of one of the best mountains in the US. Armed with our latest men’s and women’s collections, including our first-ever GORE-TEX ski pieces, we combatted freezing temps, blowing snow, and the backcountry terrain of the nearby Grand Targhee resort. We rode the iconic red tram to the peak of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort where stunning, 360-degree views of the Tetons, Jackson Hole Valley, and the surrounding mountains greeted us at every angle. Given our location, spending time at a working ranch felt like a necessity, as did backcountry skiing in Grand Targhee, just outside of Jackson. We put our new pieces to the test, capturing image after image in the elements and set against the dramatic backdrops you can only find in the mountains of the deep West. •
