AETHERmoto Group Rides: SF & LA Community Ride Recap

Last weekend, AETHERmoto organized group motorcycle rides across Northern and Southern California, uniting our community of restless spirits for a day of camaraderie on some of the West Coast's most scenic roads.

AETHERmoto x Scuderia West Group Ride — San Francisco & Highway 1

Our Northern California motorcycle group ride launched in partnership with Scuderia West, a premium San Francisco motorcycle dealer. Before kickstands went up, the AETHERstream 2.0 roving shop was on-site, giving riders a hands-on look at our newly released Moto Collection — including the Mojave 2.0 Jacket and Pant, Circuit Moto Glove, blacked-out Special Edition Mulholland Jacket, and the Tioga Moto Boot, our first-ever heritage-grade piece of riding footwear.

From San Francisco, the group rolled onto Panoramic Highway before transitioning to the iconic Shoreline Highway (Highway 1) — one of California's most celebrated motorcycle roads. After roughly two hours in the saddle, the ride concluded at Nick's Cove for a seafood lunch overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Despite overcast skies, turnout was strong and spirits were high.

The AETHERmoto x Scuderia Group Ride was a perfect reminder of why we host these community motorcycle events: to bring riders together, celebrate shared passions, and enjoy the thrill of a spirited ride on Northern California's most twisty and engaging roads.

AETHERmoto LA x Collector Car Vault — Road to the SoCal Orchards Group Ride

Down in Southern California, riders gathered at our flagship Los Angeles motorcycle store for coffee and pastries before heading out on a 75-mile route to Santa Paula. The ride opened on the I-5 — ideal for warming up tires — before transitioning to California State Route 126, a stunning stretch of road that follows the Santa Clara River through winding turns and wide-open valley views.

From Piru, the group traced the southern bank of the river through Happy Camp Canyon Regional Park and onto Grimes Canyon Road. The route continued through Stockton Road — a lush stretch through Moorpark's citrus fields and horse ranches — before connecting to Balcom Canyon Road and returning to the Santa Clara River Valley for the final push to the Collector Car Vault.

After lunch, attendees enjoyed a private tour of the Collector Car Vault, a legendary 80,000-square-foot facility with deep roots in Southern California car culture. Once a workshop for iconic pinstriper Von Dutch and later Steve McQueen's personal compound, the Vault now houses over 200 world-class collector vehicles — a fitting finale for a ride built around a shared love of machines and the open road.

Like its NorCal counterpart, the Road to the SoCal Orchards group ride was a resounding success, and a powerful reminder of why these community motorcycle events matter — to us, and to every rider who showed up.

A heartfelt thank-you to Scuderia West, the Collector Car Vault, and every rider who spent their Sunday with us.
