AETHER X Hasselblad Cameras

Recently AETHER teamed up with Swedish brand Hasselblad (@hasselbladUSA) to send some of their sponsored photographers into the field wearing items from our collection. We at AETHER are passionate about photography and photographers so it is an ongoing collaboration we are excited to be a part of. Not only are we looking forward to seeing how the artists look in our pieces, we can't wait to see the images they capture while in them. Our first photographer up: Yulia Gorbachenko (@yuliagorbachenko).

Gorbachenko is a New York-based internationally published fashion and beauty photographer. Her work has appeared in publications including Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Glamour and L'Officiel. Additonally, she has done commercial work for L'Oreal and Make Up For Ever, among others.

AETHER is a brand based in a metropolitan city, and yet we turn to nature for inspiration for our designs. When we photograph our collections we usually find ourselves deep in the outdoors, documenting scenic vistas that were there long before we were. On the contrary, Gorbachenko is a woman who can often be found in a photo studio capturing spectacular fashion and beauty looks, dramatic, edgy and editorial. While we approach our artistry quite differently, there is no question Gorbachenko wears AETHER well, and we are thrilled to see her in the field sporting our gear.
