AETHER Rally in Pioneertown: LA and SF Rides

If you’d like to go with us to Joshua Tree, group drives and motorcycle rides will depart from AETHERla and AETHERsf on May 3, taking scenic routes to Pioneertown. Details for both rides are below:

AETHERla

WHEN: Friday, May 3. Meet at 9 a.m; kickstands up at 10 a.m.

WHERE: AETHERla, 161 S. La Brea Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90036.

WHAT: We are heading to Pioneertown via scenic, twisty backroads. We'll take Angeles Crest Highway, an iconic road overlooking LA, before riding through Angeles National Forest and the San Gabriel Mountains. Then it's onto Lone Pine Canyon Road, followed by Rim of the World Highway into Big Bear where we will pass by Big Bear Lake. We’ll stop for lunch at Amangela’s Sandwich & Bagel House around 1:30 p.m. Finally, we'll drop down to Joshua Tree and Pioneertown. Please arrive with a full tank of gas.

AETHERsf

WHEN: Friday, May 3. Meet at 8:15 a.m; kickstands up at 9 a.m.

WHERE: AETHERsf, 489 Hayes Street, San Francisco, CA 94102.

WHAT: We’re heading to Pioneertown via the 101. We'll head south from San Francisco, passing through San Jose and Paso Robles—a city known for its wineries and olive groves—before stopping for lunch at Firestone Walker around 12:30 p.m. From there, we'll head east through Kern County and San Bernadino County, before heading south into Pioneertown. Please arrive with a full tank of gas.
