Each pair is crafted by hand in a small, independent factory in Portugal that’s been owned and operated by the same family of artisans for multiple generations.
Though markedly more time-consuming and labor intensive, this meticulous construction ultimately results in a level of craftsmanship and build quality that simply can’t be achieved through mass-scale production.

Handpicked Hides
Bringing our latest collection of boots to fruition was an involved process that included multiple international flights and reviewing several hundred different types of leather before ultimately landing on the hides we selected. From start-to-finish, bringing these five new pairs of boots to life was an extensive two-year process. It may not have been quick or easy, but it undoubtedly allowed us to deliver a new range of meticulously handcrafted heritage-grade boots that can legitimately offer a true lifetime of use.
Durability by design
Built atop rubber outsoles paired with leather midsoles, these heritage-grade boots boast handpicked, premium leather uppers mated to full Italian calfskin linings. The use of natural latex insoles capped off with calfskin leather affords the boots a level of comfort that’s typically reserved for sneakers — all while maintaining the durability and lifespan you’d expect from a heritage boot.
Goodyear-Welted Greatness
Rather than being glued together, each boot in this collection is pieced together using an ultra-rugged Goodyear welt construction. In addition to being substantially more durable, this tried-and-true, old-world construction technique also allows these boots to be re-soled once the outsole is worn out, practically guaranteeing a legitimate lifetime of use — and enabling them to be passed down to future generations as modern-day family heirlooms.
