Made to keep you warm during the year’s coldest days on the mountain, the W Polar Base Layer Pant is a foundational garment that’s cut from an advanced fabric and designed with a major focus on comfort and mobility. 

Better Fabric For A Better Base Layer

This foundational style is crafted from state-of-the-art Polartec® Power Grid™ fabric. This proprietary Spandex-infused poly blend consists of a breathable, lightweight fleece that boasts multi-way stretch properties, as well as moisture-wicking and natural thermoregulating abilities. The construction’s waffle pattern also helps to further bolster warmth and heat retention. 

In addition to an advanced proprietary construction, this garment benefits from a myriad of small but meaningful design details that collectively yield a superior base layer. 

Design Details

  • The Polar Base Layer Pant also employs the use of flat lock seams throughout — a detail that massively improves comfort while also eliminating chafing. The base layer’s mobility is also enhanced through its use of a gusseted crotch.

  • Sporting an AETHER wordmark logo, this style’s elasticized waistband helps to ensure a snug fit, as do the self fabric cuffs at the leg openings. 

  • Made in America, the Polar Base Layer Pant is designed to pair with our matching W Polar Base Layer Crew L/S top.
