Technical Features

Better Fabric For A Better Base Layer

The Polar Base Layer Crew is cut from Polartec® Power Grid™ Fabric — a proprietary breathable, lightweight fleece with multi-way stretch, moisture-wicking, and thermoregulating properties. The construction’s waffle pattern also helps to further bolster warmth and heat retention. 

Design Details

  • The Polar Base Layer Crew sports thumbholes at the cuffs, allowing the garment to be used to achieve a seamless connection under a pair of gloves, though they can also be bypassed for a more relaxed fit.

  • Equal parts warm and lightweight, this cutting-edge base layer also boasts flat lock seams to bolster comfort and eliminate chafing.

  • On top of a center-back seam, this Power Grid™ base layer also features a drop tail, turn back hem with AETHER’s signature coverstitch detail.
