The Alpine Seamless Half-Zip Base Layer is our version of classic thermal underwear, made for skiing and cold days in the mountains. It's designed to wear under a mid layer or shell and is knit from a stretch merino wool blend with seamless construction for warmth and unrestricted movement. The mesh stitching on the forearms, sides and back lets heat escape, and the rib stitching adds stretch where you move most.

Intelligently Engineered

Different stitch patterns are used throughout the base layer to support movement and breathability. The main body uses a jersey stitch, while the lower arms, side panels, and back panels use a mesh stitch that promotes airflow in areas prone to overheating. Horizontal rib stitching at the outer sleeves and elbows adds flexibility, while vertical rib stitching at the front and back of the body allows for greater range of movement.

Made from Merino Wool

Made from a stretch merino wool blend, the fabric is naturally soft, breathable, moisture wicking, odor resistant and thermally insulating. It helps keep you dry and warm in cold weather, while the half-zip neckline lets you adjust ventilation and temperature.
