AETHER Rally Pioneertown 2026

Join us May 15th-17th for a weekend of rides, adventures, and events that celebrate AETHER's community of restless spirits. Held at the Pioneertown Motel near Joshua Tree National Park, where you can stay at the historic accommodations or camp on the motel grounds. Bring your car, bike, or just your sense of adventure for a weekend you won't want to miss.

Desert Blacktop Moto Run
Welcoming riders of all skill levels, the Desert Blacktop Run consists of a roughly 200-mile loop exploring some of the most scenic roads in and around Joshua Tree National Park. Held entirely on paved roads, this approximately five-hour journey features a wealth of winding routes through both canyons and open stretches of desert highway — all broken up by a mid-day lunch break, and several brief stops at lookout points and other scenic roadside locales.

Single Track To Big Bear Run
Limited to experienced motorcyclists with off-road-capable bikes, the Single Track To Big Bear Run is a two-wheeled expedition that sees riders negotiate a wide variety of conditions and terrain types, from rocky sections to swaths of deep sand. Spanning nearly 90 miles in total, this moto-only excursion starts in Pioneertown and eventually climbs over 4,000’ in elevation before ultimately reaching Big Bear. More than just a group ride, it’s a demanding all-terrain test of endurance and technical two-wheeling.

The 4x4 Off-Road Drive Powered By RIVIAN isn’t just a group drive, it’s a bonafide all-terrain adventure boasting everything from tire-spinning and kicking up dust to technical crawling. Backed by our friends — and official partners — at Rivian, this handpicked route features a slew of different environments to put both drivers and their vehicles to the test as they navigate their way through everything from a massive dry lakebed to rolling sand dunes.

Roadie’s Run Vintage Drive
Reserved exclusively for vintage and classic cars, the Roadie’s Run Vintage Drive celebrates the analog connection between man and machine. Conducted entirely on paved roads, this procession of carbureted and air-cooled cars takes driving enthusiasts on an extended loop around the desert that explores everything from canyons to mountain roads. This multi-hour group drive also includes a lunch top in Idyllwild, giving participants a chance to stretch their legs and refuel both themselves and their vehicle.
